O2 Head Shave Event

The Event : In January 2009 a gang of willing guys volunteered for a head shave event to raise money and show support for Mark Gorry. Many people in O2 Preston Brook were touched at the story of Mark becoming poorly over the Christmas period and decided to get a crew cut to show it! Many of the volunteers did not know Mark personally but wanted to show their support.

The 2 ladies who volunteered to do the hair cuts are not trained hair dressers, but took on the task of cutting 26 heads of hair! Joanne Hagan and Katy Eyres from O2 Preston Brook were brave enough to give the lads a crew cut. There was great crowd around to watch and lots of photos taken.

The event was made even more special as Mark and his wife Leah made it in to the call centre to see some of the lads braving it. Thank you to everyone involved for making this event so memorable.

Amount raised for MGF: Over £500 was raised at this event!
