MGF 'Big Ball Game'

Venue : Pavillions in Runcorn

The Event : A fun packed family fun day and football tournament

The MGF Big Ball Game : Annual family fun day - in association with Runcorn Town FC.

The main event : 4 teams slogged it out for the MGF shield.
1 team from O2 Retention, 1 team from O2 Business, 1 team from Widnes Morrissons and a Runcorn FC team. Some of the Runcorn team were lads who used to play football with the Legend Mark Gorry.

Aswell as the main football event, the day also included a BBQ, bouncy castle, face painting, childrens activities, a kids football game, a cross-bar challenge and much more.

Tournament Winner : Runcorn Town Team

Cross Bar Challenge Winner : Seany Murphy - who won a flat screen TV that was kindly donated by O2

The Money raised on the day helped the MGF Cycle Taiwan Team work towards meeting their target of £12,000 for Clatterbrige Cancer Research.

A huge thanks to Glynn Davis who organised the football tournament, the players who took part and to all who attended and made this event such a success. We hope to make this an annual event and keep the MGF Shield going for many years to come.
